In all honesty, I'm not sure how this machine was created or why. It seems to be a pain in the butt for people who just want a computer that works. It routinely crashes and has a host of problems out of the box, but it's marketed as being an amazing machine to have. I just don't see how it can be considered "professional" to have such an unreliable system on your desk that needs constant attention from the user to keep it running smoothly. In my opinion, there are better options out there worth considering--products with better reliability rates and higher customer satisfaction scores. I have used computers for over 20 years, and have owned quite a few myself. I have never seen anything like this before. It looks good on TV, but don't be fooled. If you are looking for the ultimate machine to play games or try out new software, this isn't it--it will crash all the time! This is the perfect computer for people who are constantly online and who want to be able to post videos of their cat doing things on YouTube or MySpace. That sort of thing is probably best accomplished with this system because it's prone to crashing without warning. As for the other applications it is advertised to be able to run, I have no clue. I can't get it to run any of my apps remotely--they just won't work. I don't even know what these programs are supposed to do! It has a SATA hard drive instead of the standard IDE hard drive that you see on most machines. There are two SATA ports, but only one is functioning at this time. That's right--you have to take the bottom cover off of your computer in order for your SATA drive to function properly, and it's only got one SATA port working out of the box. That's how much attention it requires from you! It is nice to have a DVD/CD burner and a Blu-Ray writer on your equipment, but this computer doesn't come with those. It does come with a regular DVD burner and a regular CD burner, so you can at least use those as media on your computer. It is also capable of using flash media on your flash drive for added storage capacity, but you would need an external USB flash drive adapter to plug it into the computer for this purpose. Not only that, but the machine won't recognize some types of flash drives as being connected to the system. It comes with 2GB of RAM, which is pretty standard for today's computers. However, that is the limit. There are no slots for you to upgrade this computer for more RAM if you ever need it. If it's not enough for you, you're hosed! The graphics card is somewhat special--it's an ATI Radeon HD 3200. This isn't bad at all, but the fact that it only has 1GB of VRAM means you will be limited as far as what games or software can be used on your computer. This machine has a free PCI Express slot on the motherboard--it's just not installed with anything in it as far as I can tell so far. eccc085e13
